Look upon the sky, they say,

on those dark, winter nights.

Search for the lost mysteries,

ancient history and the lost rites.

What do you see when you look,

at the stars in the sky?

Do you see what the light tells,

and where the dark spaces lie?

How many are already born,

how many have already died?

A light that continues to shine,

lessons continued with their last sigh.

How many have looked, they say,

saw and heard nothing therein?

Blind to the lessons they could’ve learned,

shone brightly, even after their turn.
