Over ninety years of celebrating,

the mothers we hold dear.

The ones who always cared for us,

and wiped away every tear.

Encouraged us when we doubted,

and guided us through our faults.

They’d fix all our messes,

and our success they’d exalt.

Patient when being difficult,

and loving us every day.

Always laughing at our jokes,

regardless of what we say.

Always packed our lunches,

doing a thousand things for us.

Loving every minute,

even when we make a fuss.

And now that day is coming,

that special time of year.

To show them the same love,

and how we’ve always held it dear.
